The absolute worst thing about Leto Svet just winning our Eurovision song contest final is that I now have the blasted thing going on and on in my head... WAAAAAA!!! I don't want to. Really. How can something so utterly stupid be so catchy? *weeps*

Never mind that half of Europe will now think that this Slavic-sounding thing (which is supposed to be Serbo-Croatian, I suspect) is what we actually speak here... ah well. Honestly, I don't know why I even bother watching ESC these days - mostly to point and laugh, I think, but sometimes even that gets painful.

Should just blow my nose and do something else now. Like continue reading fic. Have had a bad headache all day, since the moment I woke, and although it's gone down a bit, it's still not really conducive to doing much anything. Which explains why I've spent the day not doing anything!

I can imagine archery isn't so much fun when the wind is going to carry the arrow away in some random direction!

Oh well. Archery is more fun when it's warmer, too.

As is photography... there is something to be said for not having completely frozen hands. Obviously I do wear gloves, but if I have to keep my hands out of my pockets for hours in the winter, I'd really need warm thick mittens, and those are not exactly useful with a camera!

Frozen hands are not nice...

If I do go to archery when it's cold, I can only wear thin gloves. Anything else would be too clumsy.

While it isn't as cold in England as Estonia, it's still plenty cold enough to be miserable.

Oh yeah, even +5°C is not exactly pleasant for hands when you can't keep them properly warm. I rather envy people whose hands are less susceptible to freezing.

And it's not just that feeling cold and miserable sucks, but when one has frozen hands, then it gets considerably more difficult to use them for anything requiring any sort of precision. So I can completely sympathise!
