Have finally managed to look through the pics I took with the small Fuji during last Sunday's walk, so here we go. Far too many, as usual, so two posts again. *sigh*

Reed by the river.

Coltsfoot.

A bit of the Pirita river.

More reed.

A stone in the river.

Footprint. Might have been mine.

Not a very good shot of a black-headed gull, but in my defence, I wasn't even trying to take a picture of it. It just flew over me!

A bit more river, behind a fence (there's a marina on the other side).

View of the riverside towards the beach, taken because I liked the clouds.

A whole bunch of lesser celandine flowers.

Lesser celandine and scillas.

A feather.

Have had a terribly lazy Saturday so far - went grocery shopping earlier but other than that, haven't done much anything. Slept nearly until noon, too. Should really have done something useful, but oh well. Last week was pretty hard again, work-wise, and from what I can tell, next one will be worse. Which means I should really pull myself together and make an effort to vote for the [livejournal.com profile] sshg_awards before it gets too late!

Ooh! Nice pics. I like the water, and the flowers are pretty. Lovely detail of the close-up of the feather.

A sunny spring day can't really disappoint as far as pictures go!

The feather was wonderful. Took quite a few pictures of that one.

Lovely, as ever. I particularly like the first one of the reeds, the stone in the river, and the feather, which looks metallic, the way the light is catching it.

Don't worry too much about being idle - you've had a tough week, and the next one will be tough, too. You deserve some down time.

Thanks! I do love to take pictures where light, shadows and reflections come to play. And it was such a gorgeous day for photos.

I'm not looking forward to next week much... lots of work I don't particularly want to do. Ah well.

Good point. Although the work this coming week will be heavy on the work and light on the money... paid-by-hour sort of stuff. And lots of changes to be made to stuff translated earlier, which will be tough and time-consuming but not separately paid for.

Bleargh.

*sends you Snape with large chocolate cake*

Bleargh sounds about right.

Thank you! *greedily grabs the Snape and the cake, starts eating*

You're eating Snape?! No wonder he looks a little worried in your icon...

I can neither confirm or deny this.

*looks shifty*

So pretty!

I got my votes in this morning. Didn't manage to read through all the categories, but I got most of them.

Thanks!

I am not even going to try and read everything. I did have a hope earlier on in the month that I might, but I think I only managed that with the drabbles. I guess I'll just vote for things I've read and loved - at least this time, unlike the last time, I do pretty much know of most fics and if I haven't read them, it's been a conscious decision in most cases (even if often just because the summary didn't sound interesting enough).

It's going to be hard enough to pick just one per category from among the ones I have read.

Lovely pic of that stone in the river. Flowers were pretty, too. Am so glad spring is in full force here now.

Spring is so lovely, isn't it? I always forget just how wonderful it really is until it arrives again! Although this year it does seem especially great here, after the dreadfully dull grey winter.

Hiya. Sorry I don't have much to say about the camera posts - you're way beyond me in the knowledge of them! But that just means your pics are glorious!

Hee! No problem, I just tend to get a bit carried away by camera stuff. :-D And thanks!
