Preparing for doom

No, the post title does not refer to dreading having today's set of Enchantment drabbles being ripped up properly by [livejournal.com profile] a_bees_buzz who has kindly offered to beta them for me before posting (as I've had embarrassing gender mix-up issues sneak in a few times, I've finally decided to get over my fear and actually let someone see them before posting them for everyone!).

My dentist appointment is tomorrow. *wibbles*

I shouldn't really be too scared yet, as I don't expect to be hurt too much tomorrow (depending on what the first consultation / diagnostic stuff entails), but I've already had my stomach go all achy whenever I've taken the bus past the building the last few days. Gah.

Anyway, the other [livejournal.com profile] palfow mentioned that I should take some videos of my cats, and I remembered I actually have a few. Not too many and none very good, but I did locate a few of them and uploaded some on YouTube yesterday.

And I should watch yesterday's episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures now, as I completely forgot about it yesterday.

Kribu-cat, delicately and tenderly tearing apart her defenseless prey...

She's a mighty little predator, that one!

Really, my dear, I think cat-Kribu is the only one doing any ripping. Your wonderful drabbles need only the gentlest of handling.

I'd better not let cat-Kribu anywhere near them in that case...

Thanks!

I didn't know plushies could be that palatable...

If your dentist knows his/her stuff, there shouldn't be too much pain. Actually, the pain often comes after.

Kribu loved that sheep-pillow. I assume she still would, but it's somewhat ripped up by now.

Oh how adorable and I'm not even a cat person.

Good luck with the dentist, the only thing that hurts me whenever I go to the dentist is my wallet!

Love Sonia :)

Kribu's the cutest cat ever, especially when involved in wanton destruction.

Thanks - I do hope there will be no pain tomorrow. Otherwise though, I recall even the damn painkiller injections hurting a lot.

The wallet - or the bank account, as I don't think I could easily fit that much cash (as I expect to be spending overall) in my wallet - will hurt for sure though. Oh well - my own fault for putting it off for so long.

Oh my! I'm surprised there's any sheep left :-)

I love the way she looks at the camera in the end with the what-are-you-looking-at face.

[identity profile] kribu.livejournal.com 2007-11-13 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
There isn't really all that much sheep left now... it's an older clip. I think that was the sheep that was originally your brother's. :-O

[identity profile] elen-ancalima.livejournal.com 2007-11-13 08:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I think it was ...

I'll make sure my sheep never sees that clip :-)

[identity profile] kribu.livejournal.com 2007-11-13 08:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I think you'd better, yes! The poor sheep could be traumatised for life.

Reading the comments, I see now that cat!Kribu's prey was a sheep... but when I first watched it, it looked like a rabbit. *Sigh* I've got plot bunnies on my mind. Wish mine would behave itself...

[identity profile] kribu.livejournal.com 2007-11-13 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Rabbits have longer ears, I think... plus it's probably easier to tell in reality, as it's quite woolly.

*keeps cat!Kribu away from the plot bunnies anyway, just in case*

Ah, sheep. The natural prey of small furry domestic predators.

Good luck with the dentist.

[identity profile] kribu.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks... have got less than five hours of proper sleep due to the anxiety and a rather persistent headache, but am hoping for the best.

I'm not really sure if there is anything that isn't the natural prey of small furry domestic predators. Yesterday she attacked my grapes.

Apparently I'm Miss Polyanna, as I see everybody else saw her as shredding the sheep and I saw her as grooming it. lol

[identity profile] kribu.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 05:15 am (UTC)(link)
Hee. :-D I should have another clip of her shredding the sheep somewhere - if I manage to upload it at some point, it should be more obvious there!
