Braving the (very very beautiful, actually) full-blown winter, the trip to the post office today proved surprisingly fruitful.
Received The Bunker Soldiers, which completes my First Doctor book collection (meaning only the Virgin Missing Adventures and the BBC Past Doctor Adventures, of course). Woo! Now, if I could ever actually get to reading any of them, that would be nice... I just realised I haven't read any First or Second Doctor books at all yet. But at least they're there in case I get a holiday in ten years or something.
And got loads of DVDs too! Now I, um, need a place for them. Damn HMV.co.uk for having several things on sale recently that I've wanted for a while (plus I came across a 15% off voucher, good for only that weekend when I found it, which was a help setting off the postage costs)... in any case, got Life on Mars series 1, The Quatermass Collection (the three disc set of the original show, or what's left of it), out of pure curiosity, and Odyssey 5, for £16-18 each, which wasn't that bad. (Well, actually, it's very bad for my bank account, but not that bad compared to their respective RRP). And a few other things. No Doctor Who this week, but should get some of that next week!
