Too much light
3 November 2006 11:07Why do people here insist on having ALL THE FUCKING CEILING LIGHTS on all day even when the sun is shining brightly outside? It's hot here, it's WAY too light, I've been here five minutes and I'm already having a headache.
And I don't dare to go and turn the lights off either, if a dozen other people seem happy about them (and I've done it often enough in the past, I don't really want to do it anymore, because, well, if other people need them, it wouldn't be very nice of me to deny them some more light). So there's not much else for me to do than to complain I just really wish there was a way to turn off the fucking thing immediately above me. As if the heat from the radiator right next to me wasn't bad enough. It's utterly stifling in here, and the light is reflecting from the monitor and the window and, well, everywhere. Like the sunlight reflecting off the windows of the house they're building right across the street.
