Spring picspam, 2/2
25 April 2009 22:19![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
I'm back from a three hour walk. Very tired!
Was feeling absolutely awful to start with - was nauseuous and dizzy for almost all day (we only managed to finally get out by 5 pm or so), and the first half an hour I constantly felt something between wanting to throw up and just falling over and fainting, and I was too hot (but it wasn't warm enough to take the jacket off either), and just really feeling awful all over, but then eventually it started getting better. I think mint chewing gum and getting to the shade helped. And after that, I was feeling pretty good already, just really achy in the legs by the time we got home. So it was definitely worth the initial crap feeling.
Anyway, here's more picspam from earlier this week!

More river and snails and mussels and so on. It's amazing how many different ones there are in one small area there in the river.

I couldn't choose just one pic, obviously.

Springy leaf.

Tree thingy.

A very fungussy tree.

Furry fungus.

Coltsfoot.

Hepatica.

Ant carrying another ant.

Crocus.

Snowdrops.

Scillas.
Hmm. Should try and catch up with some more fic now.

Date: 25 April 2009 19:44 (UTC)I loved the fungus. It was definitely adorably furry! I was rather surprised really, fungi growing on trees tend to be smoother.

Have a great rest of the weekend. I'm getting ready to go out myself!

Date: 26 April 2009 13:48 (UTC)I'm glad too. Not feeling that great again today, but better than yesterday. I wish I knew how to get rid of the near-constant nausea and dizziness that have been plaguing me for years ... hoped that dropping coffee would help, and it has a bit, but not quite. Lying down seems to be good, at least, but a bit problematic on work days.
