Very random picspam from last year

Still feeling rather... non-creative. Pretty much just numb and going through the motions. I expect it'll get better with time; at least there is work again, which helps in many ways.

Can one have commenting block, by the way, if one can have writer's block? I'm not even wanting to read fic these days as I have no idea what to say in the end. Can't even seem to come up with two words.

Anyway, the actual reason for this post: found a few random abstract shots from December which I kind of liked and realised I'd never posted.

The first three are of a mostly empty mug of hot chocolate, the last three are random city lights.

Oh, man! I adore the first three. I'd hang them on my wall like a shot. The first pic looks like the surface of a mysterious planet or something.

I got absorbed in taking abstract shots using my camera phone of car head lights and back lights when we were driving in heavy traffic recently. I have an idea of doing an abstract painting based on them. That looks pretty and is based on the most urban of subjects. Dunno if I'll ever get around to it!

There's definitely a planet/asteroid vibe going on with the first two!

Car lights make the most amazing abstracts. I'm no good at that but mum has a whole set of car light abstracts (http://www.flickr.com/photos/stellawind/sets/72157594249525572/) on Flickr. Most of them I wouldn't even recognise as such!
