Musti's done with the new round of antibiotics. Took in a new urine sample today - exactly the same stuff, too high blood sugar, high amount of leukocytes, protein and all that. No change with the infection either - and she's still leaving red spots, so that was to be guessed. :-/
She's also acquired a persistent cough this last week, which is quite obviously wearing her down. She's been rather listless and lacking in energy the whole week, but doesn't seem to be in any obvious pain.
Anyway, the vet said he'll want a blood sample, and so we'll need to take Musti in again tomorrow. I do so hope that goes well, as he'll need to anaesthetise her (I suppose a cat won't take kindly to a proper vein blood sample being taken, which he'll need to do) and at Musti's age, that's going to be risky. :-/ At least if everything goes well, I hope we'll find out just what the issue is, as it doesn't seem to be a simple infection.
In other news, I caved in and got a permanent LJ account. It's really the draw of 15 GB of permanent storage space for pics and stuff that tempted me... that's something I foresee wanting and using for a long time. Provided LJ stays around, of course.
