Finally managed to look through the pics I took on Monday, when we still had pretty snow. Why can't I ever just pick a handful for posting? Gah.

Click for bigger versions.

Since then, we've got rain and it's been thawing quite a bit, so there's very little left - and what there is, is all dirty and slushy. Grrrr. But it was very pretty while it lasted!

Right, off to the vet's with Musti now... I just hope these antibiotics will work. No sign of them working yet, but she's only had two injections so far, so perhaps it's too soon to hope for any improvement.

Pretty to see in pictures, not so pleasant up close.

I hope Musti gets better soon.

love Sonia :)

I love snow up close too, unless it's coming at me at storm speeds. :-D What I don't like so much is the in-between phase we have now.

Thanks. I do hope so too.

Oh my lord, snow! So much snow!

...I'm kind of glad it's hot here though. It looks lovelier in pictures, lol.

We really only had one day of proper snowfall. :-D

Heh! I think it comes down to what you're used to. I don't cope well with heat, for example!

That little touch of red in the first one just sets it off nicely.

It's hard to find colour when it's snowed like that! The firefighting water supply thingies are good for something at least.

Beautiful. As always. And I wish we had more snow. Ours is mostly gone. Just some shadowy corners still have white patches to remind us... :-(

We have small dirty piles left and that's it. Streets are practically clear, at least here, and most grassy areas too. So glad we did go out on Monday though, as who knows when we'll get such lovely snow again!

Pretty! (But you can keep it over there. Don't want it here.)

I hope the antibiotics work for Musti soon as well.

I'd love to have kept it! Sadly it doesn't seem to want to stay.

They'd better. She's looking a bit worse today. :-/

I agree with Shiv - the fire hydrant is a lovely touch in the first. They're all nice pictures. Thank you!

Best wishes and snuggles to Musti.

I loved the first bird picture. What a chubby little birdie!

I think it's the angle - most tits look a bit chubby from that side. :-D

My favorite is the second bird photo, there is just something about it! The snowman one looks like an advertisement. =D

Hope Musti feels better!

*hugs*

I think the berries add that something to the second bird pic!

The snowgirl was awfully cute.

Thanks.

Very pretty pics! I especially like the two birdies.

Huggles to Musti, I hope the antibiotics will work.

Pretty to look at! The dirty slush that is left when it starts to melt is just yuck.

It's very pretty when it's all white and clean and fluffy, yes!

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I don't know, but I always feel closer to something when it is cold and fall, dark and rainy, or snowing.

Have a good rest of the Holiday weekend!

Snow has that effect on me, too. Not sure why!

Glad you liked the pictures!

Oooooh! This is the way I like to look at snow, in pictures or through a window. The snow never lasts long where I live. We usually get a couple of decent snowfalls and each are gone in a matter of days. It is pretty though!

I hope the shots help your kitty. Poor dear. I shall cross my fingers and think good thoughts for her.

Out of all the things that tend to come down from the sky, snow is definitely the prettiest. :-D

I do love snow, not the least because it's so very dark here without it for half a year. At least it gives the street lights something to reflect off, so it's all not quite as depressive.

Thank you. I do hope so, too!
