Musti update
No picspam yet, gah. Too much work. Grrr.
Took the pee (not Musti) to the vet today - not good news. Far too high glucose and protein levels, so it looks like she's got diabetes. Although the vet said he'd need a blood test to be entirely sure, but he has to think yet whether it's very important to take one or not, as getting a proper blood test from a cat apparently requires general anaesthesia, and he'd rather not do that with a cat Musti's age just for that reason alone.
But anyway, he seemed reasonably certain it's diabetes. Plus the bladder infection's still there and thus stronger antibiotics are needed - ones that need to be injected into the muscle. So we're to take her in for daily injections for at least 7-10 days now, starting tomorrow.
Go fresh air and exercise, I suppose. ;-)
And once the antibiotics treatment's over, we can see if it's any better. Gah.
My poor little Musti. I just hope she'll get better with all this, but it looks like she just seems to get every problem around.
Right, back to work. Three days left...

I don't know if it's handy for you, but homeopathy works well on cats and it's easy to administer.
On the sunny side, only three days of work left...

Hm, I wouldn't know where to start with homeopathy, really. Must admit I know very little of that sort of stuff... what were you thinking about, more exactly?
Yes, only three days. Of nothing left but long full sentence lines, which don't go too fast. *weeps a bit*

Not looking forward to the forecast thaw and rain - and even worse if it'll then freeze again at night. That won't make the trip any easier!

Ah well. She's still acting quite normally and not showing any signs of suffering, so I'm still hopeful that it's all in a treatable stage.
Thank you.

It's mostly ice I fear - with so much snow, and forecast for rain, and nights will still probably be freezing... ah well, just have to be careful.
