Finally got around to uploading Measuring Up to the various archives. Up now on FFN, and hopefully within a few days also on TPP and Ashwinder. Provided it doesn't have too many commas in the wrong places, LOL!

As usual, there is also picspam - this time from yesterday, before shopping. All with the Pentax W10. With the way it's been raining on and off lately, I don't much feel like dragging anything else with me on normal days.

A random yellow flower on my way to work.

A random bee in a jasmine blossom.

The main square, all dug up. (For taking the parking lot underground. Except that they have - shockingly!! - come across some old walls & fortifications, so now I have no idea how they'll manage to fit the parking lot around them.)

A random ant on some blossoms.

Coffee press.

Reflections on the coffee press lid.

Random girls advertising for the museum of mediaeval torture instruments.

[ profile] juno_magic buying a new camera has made my desire for the Canon A650 IS come back... I've been tempted by that very same model a few times now, but so far, have resisted. I keep reminding myself that I really don't need yet another compact camera, but does my mind listen? Nooo...

The reflections in the coffee press pic is too awesome. Brilliant. I thought wow, that lake or fountain is clear ... then I read the sigline.

And the picture with the random girls is great, too. So you do people after all!

I hope that I shall soon be able to tempt you with enthusiastic reports about using the camera ... and copious picspams!

Thanks! It was a nice clean shiny lid. ;-)

I only do take pics of random people when they're not looking at me.

Hee! That's what I'm afraid of, yes. ;-)

Wow, lovely photos! I'm especially fascinated by the close-up of the coffee press and the bee in the jasmine blossom, but these are all wonderful.

Also: Museum of Medieval Torture Instruments? Really? That sounds like my kind of museum! :D

I loved the way the bee almost seems to be standing up there in the flower!

Hee! I haven't been there. Mum has once, I think, and said it was rather gruesome. I should go some day... although I fear it might be a bit squicky for me.

Lovely, lovely picspam. *Wows at reflections*

Museum of medieval torture instruments?! I like museums, but... don't think I've ever been to that sort.

Reflections are always fun!

Unlike mediaeval torture instruments... well, maybe fun for people like Bellatrix. *shudders a bit*

The pics are great - the reflection in the coffee press lid esp.

but you also made me laugh:

Random girls advertising for the museum of mediaeval torture instruments.

It's such a great bit of dark humor!

Hee, yes. At least they advertised for the museum, not just mediaeval torture instruments!

Soem girls never have enough shoes, or enough books. You're the girl who never have enough cameras. What's wrong with that, except for your bank account maybe?

I quite agree!

Some people collect cars... so it could be worse. :-D
