Have had yet another entirely lazy day, with cutting & filing my fingernails and finishing off The Last Dodo (erm, no, not in that way!) being the notable achievements of this particular SundaMonday. I could get used to this sort of life. Honestly, I think I've really needed this - I've slept a lot but still feel like I need even more.

Took a rather brief look at Saturday's botanical gardens photos, and picked out a few... the theme of the day is green.

Er, yes, it was raining when we were on our way out. As can probably be seen by the river! Which made me think that I'd really, really like that weather-sealed Pentax DA* 16-50mm lens to go with the weather-sealed camera (not much use for a weather-sealed, water-resistant camera, if the lens isn't sealed!)... just wish it was cheaper and lighter. So on second thoughts, I have located and charged my little waterproof Pentax W10 - now that it's likely we'll get caught in the rain now and then, having a rainproof camera with me would be nice.

Should do the more colourful ones some other day.

I like green, I find it resting. And you sleeping a lot is good.

Green's wonderful, really. Might well be my favourite colour, as colours go.

It seems I've really needed to catch up with my sleep, yes.

You mean you didn't really finish off the last Dodo?

Nice green and some yellow too! I like the ferny thing in the first pic, and that thorny prickly thing looks vicious.

Wasn't me, no!

Yes... the sneaky yellow, wouldn't stay out of the pictures.

Beautiful as ever. I particularly like the one of the prickly stuff.

Thanks! There was a lot of prickly stuff around, and not much space to move around between them...

Meep. These are so very lush and gorgeous. Nummy.

(And I'm sure all that yellow is really LJ's fault; they started decomposing the pigments cos they don't like all green. ;P )

Oh yes, indeed. LJ is the evil thing that turned the lemons and the dandelions yellow!

Spring really is a wonderful time of the year... even when cold and rainy. :-D
