Ex-tooth is feeling considerably better. Still on soft food, which is getting annoying (and I keep drooling at thoughts of the most common food items, such as a slice of bread), but I've managed to have some strawberries, which were delicious. But the tenderness and swelling are as good as gone. On the other hand, I've lost a bit of weight - seem to be barely over 52 kg now, which can probably be explained by the recent enforced lack of chocolate and real food.

Also managed to drag myself out yesterday, for post office and grocery shopping, which (combined with a walk, some 3-4 km altogether) took a good couple of hours. Got some lovely pics, but haven't got around to doing anything with them yet. The weather is lovely and sunny, but still staying firmly under 10°C and with wind, really not nearly as summery as it looks.

Synchronised sleeping.

More synchronised sleeping. The size difference between Kribu (front) and Pätsu should be rather evident here!

Kribu pretending to be evil!predator!Kribu.

Back to the more usual oh-I'm-so-pretty!Kribu.

Kribu looking out of the scratching post/cave combination thingy.

Pätsu looking thoughtfully at the life outside.

Kribu. A bit confused by the lack of food on the table, I think.

I have a weakness for high contrast Kribu pics for some reason.

More Kribu.

So much for trying to get a nice portrait... Kribu decided to come and headbutt the camera.

Finished reading Doctor Who: Sting of the Zygon yesterday. Will probably start The Last Dodo today. I really am enjoying the Ten & Martha books, although when reading several Ten books in a row, the authors' desire for Tennish dialogue (especially the multitude of repetitions of some random word) can occasionally become a little tiring. Ah well.

Aww! I really love the synchronised sleeping. And Kribu peeking out of the cave thing. The penultimate picture with Kribu's mouth open made me think of 'Hear me roar'. The look in her eyes, maybe?

Kribu roaring would be ... different!

I think that was me catching the end part of her yawning, again. She has the funniest expressions when yawning.

Synchronized sleeping! Made me laugh. Do you think it'll become the next big competitive sport?

I suspect it would be a huge success among cats at least! Don't think humans can really achieve quite that sort of perfection there...

*purrs at the kitty picspam* Kribu is a high contrast cat already, high contrast suits her :-)

That's a very good point! And she does like to be in the sun - or half in the sun, anyway.

But you can drink hot chocolate, can't you? Not as good as the real thing, but still...

Hot drinks were not recommended... I'm assuming it should be safe by now, but I'm not sure I want to risk, as I like hot chocolate rather hot. Have been staying away from nice hot tea, too, sniffle.

Ah well, being without chocolate for a week is one of those hardships in life that have to be survived. ;-)

You think you've got it hard.

I went for fifteen years without chocolate. Is it any wonder I eat so much now?

You have my full understanding.

Kribu is made for chiaroscuro...

I know what you mean about people writing Dr Ten. I bought #1 a Dr Who storybook last Christmas, and - quite apart from several stories being very evidently quick knock-together jobbies - this was a verbal twitch I found most aggravating after a very short while.

So right you are!

Yes, quite. Tennant carries it off on screen (and I find it annoying even there, although less now than in the beginning), but in print, it just feels off. Forced, really (and very much one of those "tick this thing off the list" characterisations).

Awww :-) I particularly love confused!Kribu's expression as she looks at the empty table. And I agree that the high contrast Kribu shots are very dramatic and suit her quite well.

A puzzled Kribu is wonderfully cute. She's so expressive, it's always so much fun!

Awww! I love how good cats are at synchronised sleeping. The picture of Kribu coming up to headbutt the camera makes me smile because my cats do the same, especially when I think I've just caught them in the most adorable pose.

Glad the ex-tooth is feeling better!

Taking pics of sleeping cats is so much easier! At least they're not attacking the camera. :-D

Thanks! I'm rather glad too, although I know I can't stop being careful about it quite yet.

If there's one thing Kribu can do perfectly, it's cute.

I know! Such a wistful look.

I'm glad you're getting betting, even if it's a slow process.

The synchronized sleeping is wonderful!

Thanks. I'm not doing badly at all really, it's just the bit about not being to eat properly (i.e. anything I'd really want to eat) that is making me a bit irritated and whiny!

They're always so cute when they do that, yes!
