No, it's never given me problems. But I saw the X-rays - it's growing at a very bad angle (which is the reason it's not emerged, I suppose), and is likely going to start pushing into the next tooth, which is going to create problems with that.
I didn't really even need the dentist to say anything - it looked like a pretty clear case to me as soon as I saw the X-rays. Which was a shock, really! And the dentist then immediately pointed it out. He did say there is no immediate urgency, but that it should be dealt with before it ruins the other teeth.
