It's the sides of a glass mug with the remains of hot chocolate (which was fairly thick, IIRC, not thin and runny) on them, in candlelight.
Yeah, I know... it's mostly with WIPs that I worry that when I've left nice and proper comments/reviews for something for 40 chapters and then suddenly just keep it to "Nice", the author might wonder if something was wrong... Grrr.
