Musti update

No picspam yet, gah. Too much work. Grrr.
Took the pee (not Musti) to the vet today - not good news. Far too high glucose and protein levels, so it looks like she's got diabetes. Although the vet said he'd need a blood test to be entirely sure, but he has to think yet whether it's very important to take one or not, as getting a proper blood test from a cat apparently requires general anaesthesia, and he'd rather not do that with a cat Musti's age just for that reason alone.
But anyway, he seemed reasonably certain it's diabetes. Plus the bladder infection's still there and thus stronger antibiotics are needed - ones that need to be injected into the muscle. So we're to take her in for daily injections for at least 7-10 days now, starting tomorrow.
Go fresh air and exercise, I suppose. ;-)
And once the antibiotics treatment's over, we can see if it's any better. Gah.
My poor little Musti. I just hope she'll get better with all this, but it looks like she just seems to get every problem around.
Right, back to work. Three days left...
